Ho-Ho-Hosting for the Holidays?
Posted on November 30 2016
It’s that time of year again! The Working Duds team kicked off the holiday season with a festive Thanksgiving feast complete with all the trimmings. Hosting was a lot easier with a chef coat and apron to cover up with while we prepared a delicious meal for family and friends. I got several compliments on my white chef coat with black trim. Not only did it help me keep my clothes clean, but everyone knew who the chef was! Another tradition at our house is a holiday cookie making party and this year I am surprising each of my guests with a festive apron that they can both wear at the party and take home for future cooking. We have both red aprons and green aprons available and screen printing them is a breeze!
The holidays are busy not only for the home chef, but also for catering businesses who are always at the ready to help people celebrate in an exciting way. It’s a perfect time to make sure you and your staff are wearing uniforms that fit the occasion. A black baggy chef pant not only allows you to move comfortably while moving about the kitchen, but also hides any spills or grease so you can keep looking your best. And nothing looks sharper than a crisp lapel coat. Add a sprig of mistletoe in your pocket and you will be the hit of any holiday party!
